Our client is seeking a dedicated Learning & Development professional with a strong background in sales training to play a key role in shaping their people strategy. This position will focus on empowering global sales teams with the skills, knowledge, and development opportunities they need to excel in a competitive international market. Working as part of a wider HR function, this role plays a crucial part in supporting international teams and driving sales capability initiatives that align with business priorities.

Your Impact

As a Global Learning & Development Consultant specialising in multinational sales teams, you will be instrumental in designing, delivering, and refining development programmes that enhance sales performance and support international client engagement. You will collaborate closely with senior leadership to foster a culture of continuous learning and ensure sales professionals have the right skills to drive revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Partner with global sales leadership to identify capability and onboarding needs, ensuring employees receive targeted training and development support.

  • Act as a strategic link between L&D, Sales, and Business Operations to align upskilling initiatives across diverse regions.

  • Design and implement tailored learning interventions that enhance sales skills, negotiation techniques, and customer engagement strategies.

  • Develop training solutions that address the complexities of selling to international clients, ensuring alignment with global sales strategies.

  • Collaborate with UK-based L&D teams to align learning strategies and share best practices.

  • Measure and evaluate the impact of sales training programmes, using data and insights to drive continuous improvement.

  • Support non-sales roles within global teams by identifying learning gaps and working with Business Operations L&D to implement effective solutions.

  • Advocate for a culture of learning, promoting professional development and growth opportunities across all levels.

What You'll Need
  • Proven experience in Learning & Development, with a strong focus on designing and delivering sales training programmes.

  • Demonstrated ability to enhance sales team performance through tailored learning solutions.

  • Strong ability to collaborate with senior stakeholders and align L&D initiatives with commercial business objectives.

  • Analytical mindset, with experience measuring training effectiveness and leveraging data for continuous enhancement.

  • Knowledge of instructional design principles and sales-focused development strategies.

  • Understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to create training solutions tailored for global sales teams.

  • Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with experience delivering training in both virtual and in-person settings.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects effectively, meeting deadlines while maintaining high-quality output.

  • Experience working with international sales teams is a plus.

  • UK-based role with flexibility to travel as needed.
