We are assisting a leading insurance brokerage in their search for a highly motivated and experienced Branch Director to join their team in Solihull. Reporting directly to the Commercial Director, the successful candidate will take ownership of the branch's P&L performance, drive new business growth, and ensure long-term client retention, all while helping to achieve the company's overall strategic goals.

As Branch Director, you will be responsible for leading a team of Development Executives, providing guidance and mentorship to ensure they meet their targets. You'll also manage your own portfolio of clients, identifying opportunities for growth through relationship building, upselling, and cross-selling. The role requires a proactive approach to pipeline development, marketing activities, and maximising client coverage. You will lead by example in 'pitch' meetings, ensuring success in securing significant new business opportunities.

Key responsibilities include overseeing the branch's sales and service processes, credit control, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements. You will foster a culture of ownership, pride, and service excellence within the branch, motivating the team to achieve high performance and deliver outstanding customer care.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 7 years of commercial insurance experience, strong knowledge of the broking industry, and proven leadership skills. ACII qualification is preferable. You should be able to demonstrate a track record of successful business generation, team management, and operational excellence, as well as strong communication and problem-solving abilities.
