Hours:7:30 AM - 4PM (Mon - Fri)

We are working with a established precision engineering company in Nechells, specializing in high-quality components for various industries. We are seeking an experienced CNC Machinist/Programmer with expertise in either 3-axis or 5-axis machining to join there skilled team.

Job Description:
As a CNC programmer, you will be responsible for setting up, programming, and operating CNC machines to produce precision parts to tight tolerances. You will work with both 3-axis and/or 5-axis machinery, depending on your experience, ensuring that production runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up and operate CNC machines (3-axis or 5-axis) to manufacture precision components.
  • Read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
  • Perform routine maintenance and ensure machines are running optimally.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure they meet quality and accuracy standards.
  • Adjust machine settings as needed to maintain production quality.
  • Work collaboratively with the production team to meet project deadlines.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to health and safety guidelines.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Proven experience as a CNC Machinist with 3-axis or 5-axis machine operation.
  • Ability to read technical drawings and use precision measuring tools.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Knowledge of CNC programming (experience with CAD/CAM software is a plus).
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
