Your new companyYou will be joining a market-leading bridge contractor who specialises in the installation and demolition of modular steel bridges and temporary bridges. This multi-accredited organisation operates throughout the UK and boasts an impressive list of high-profile clients, including Network Rail, Highways England, Sizewell C and HS2. They offer excellent opportunities for career progression and, due to continued success, they are looking to onboard a Site Manager.Your new roleAs Site Manager you will be responsible for overseeing the successful delivery of bridge schemes throughout the UK, from inception through to completion. You will be based on one site at a time, initially in the Birmingham area, on a 40-hour work week (9am-5pm). You will also be expected to commute and lodge (all expenses paid) at sites further afield and be able to commute to their depot in Rotherham on occasion.What you'll need to succeedIn order to be successful, you must hold a CPCS card and have steel erecting experience. In addition, you will be able to manage and lead teams effectively to ensure successful project outcomes. Previous experience with heavy cranes is advantageous.
