Job Title: Construction Project Manager

Location: Based in the Midlands, with travel between current/potential sites throughout England.

Job Function: Reporting into the Head of Construction, you will suuport with the end to end development of new build and converstion projects and fit out programs, including where required: Design, Construction, Documentation, Extension, Refurbishment and Snagging.

The role consists of supporting the Head of Construction in the successful implementation of our development and fit out program across designated projects. Reporting to the Head of Construction, the role requires accountability and responsibility for project supervision and delivery on time and within budget.

Who we’re looking for: • Previous project management experience, within commercial projects (retail/warehousing developments/refurbs)• Microsoft Office and MS Project proficiency• Demonstrable skills in site and contractor supervision and direction• Adaptibility in reacting to fast moving environments and multitasking• Ability to make decisions within defined parameters to ensure efficient site progress• Advanced budgetary awareness to ensure cost control and drive efficiency and ROI• A can-do attitude and creativity to enhance delivery targets and deliver successful projects on time

What you’ll do• Responsible for coordinating and driving the workstreams on defined, commercial development projects and controlling the program of works and the contractors on site.• Assist with analysis and negotiations of the costs for tenders and contracts.• Ensure all work conforms to design specifications, regulatory standards, and ultimately meets the company expectations. This involves setting up and enforcing quality control procedures throughout the project's lifecycle.• Deal with contractors, building control and CDM as required.• During project construction review and comment on the value of works being completed.• Enforce strict safety regulations, conduct regular safety audits, and review contractor RAMS.• The primary objective is to ensure the project's outcome aligns perfectly with the customer's vision.
