An exciting opportunity has opened up for a motivated, client-facing Construction Project Manager to join a highly respected Global Construction Consultancy at their Birmingham office.

The Construction Project Manager Role

The incoming Project Manager will join a dynamic team, working across a variety of sectors, including Residential, Education, Healthcare, Industrial, and Infrastructure, with opportunities to expand into Commercial and Retail. You'll lead multiple exciting projects, ensuring they meet the highest standards from start to completion.

Key responsibilities include managing key stage reports, overseeing meetings, running the bidding process, and supervising live operational projects. You'll also assist with contract documents, lead multi-disciplinary teams, and ensure compliance with Environmental, Health, Safety, Security, and Quality standards.

This role offers a flexible work environment, with two days in the office (or more if preferred), and a clear path to a Senior position. You'll also mentor junior team members, helping diversify the team's project portfolio.

The Construction Project Manager

The incoming Construction Project Manager will have:

  • Previous Project Management experience in the Construction industry
  • Previous Project Management experience within a UK Consultancy firm
  • A RICS Accredited degree qualification is highly desirable
  • NEC & JCT contract experience
  • Accredited by RICS, APM or CIOB - or committed to achieving
  • A successful track record managing projects from inception to completion through all RIBA stages
