Engineering Manager - Responsibilities & Requirements

  • Must have Engineering Degree or HND/NVQ4 in an engineering discipline
  • Proven experience within food, pharma or FMCG environment
  • Ensuring that compliance is current, recorded, maintained and updated for the entire site
  • Responsible for creating and managing the capital and operational engineering budgets
  • Ensuring that all mechanical and electrical equipment is running to it’s optimum performance
  • Overseeing that departmental SLA’s and KPI’s are met
  • Managing and reacting to any equipment issues or outages in a timely and efficient manner
  • Responsible for always promoting health & safety awareness
  • Maximise availability of all mechanical and electrical equipment through continuous improvement and improve equipment efficiencies and reduce costs through methodologies such as RCM, CBM, life cycle analysis, FMEA etc.
  • Experience of contractor and permit control
  • SSOW and risk assessment experience
