Health, Safety & Welfare Culture Advisor urgenty required with substantive experience, FMCG , food safety background, with a focus on Compliance & Cultural Change. West Midlands based.

A key role within the business, embedding a proactive safety culture, with responsibility for promoting best practices, ensuring compliance with legislation and driving employee engagement in health, safety and welfare initiatives.

Responsibilities;

  • Ensure compliance with UK health & safety regulations, including HSE guidance, HACCP, COSHH and food safety standards
  • Conduct risk assessments and develop safe working procedures across all operational areas
  • Train, support and monitor managers on risk assessments and working procedures for their departmental responsibilities
  • Monitor and review workplace hazards, ensuring appropriate controls are in place
  • Assist in accident and incident investigations, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions
  • Maintain up-to-date records of audits, inspections, and training

Requirements;

  • NEBOSH, HACCP, COSHH, FOOD SAFETY, HSE qualified
  • Strong understanding of UK Health & Safety legislation
  • Proven ability to influence and engage employees at all levels
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, training, and presentation skills
  • Passionate about creating a positive safety culture and employee well-being
  • Excellent IT, influencing, planning and organisational skills
