This company have been trading since 2011 and made a fantastic reputation in the hospitality sector working for large blue chip clients; mainly pub chains. The business has peaked at 20m turnover and delivered some fantastic flagship projects over the years.

The Role

Specifically they are looking for someone to work closely with the current HSQET Manager from an auditing perspective. You will be supporting the company, implementing, executing and maintaining the board strategy and targets for H&S.

  • Conduct regular health and safety audits on construction sites to ensure compliance with regulations and best practices.
  • Identify and assess risks, and recommend measures to minimize hazards and improve safety standards.
  • Prepare detailed audit reports, outlining findings, recommendations, and corrective actions.
  • Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety regulations.
  • Stay updated on relevant health and safety legislation and industry standards.
  • Provide training and support to site personnel on health and safety procedures.
  • Review site-specific risk assessments and method statements for accuracy and completeness.
  • Investigate accidents and near-miss incidents, and provide recommendations for preventing recurrence.
  • Maintain accurate records of audits, inspections, and corrective actions taken.
  • Collaborate with the health and safety team to drive continuous improvement initiatives across projects.
