Day-to-day of the role:
  • Conduct skills gap analyses to identify areas of improvement within the sales team.
  • Develop and deliver comprehensive training programs tailored to both new hires and existing staff.
  • Create engaging learning materials such as presentations, manuals, and interactive activities.
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
  • Collaborate with sales team leaders to identify training needs and customise programs accordingly.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices to ensure training content is relevant and effective.
  • Provide one-on-one coaching and support to sales team members as needed.
  • Monitor and report on the progress of trainees and the impact of training initiatives.
  • Foster a positive learning environment that encourages growth and skill development.
  • Facilitate workshops, role-plays, and simulations to reinforce learning and improve performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a Sales Trainer or in a similar role.
  • Strong understanding of sales processes and techniques.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to create engaging and effective training materials.
  • Proficiency in using training software and tools.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess training needs and evaluate outcomes.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
