We have an exciting opportunity to join Smart as part of our growing team as a Tutor, Trainer/Assessor.

The role is home based and however you must be willing to travel to visit learners and employers in the workplace if the need arises and to attend quaterly company training and development events.

The job:

This role requires a person to who is passionate about helping others to successfully to reach their work based qualifications, where you will teach, train and assess learners using your industry experience and previous training experience. This typically would involve:-

Visiting and observing Apprentices in the workplace to gather evidence towards their qualifications

Delivering full Apprenticeship frameworks, including Functional Skills

Maintaining an electronic Portfolio of learners’ progression

Building and developing relationships with Employers and learners.

Skills and experience this role requires:-

  • You need to have previous experience in teaching/delivery of qualification - (Assessor - CAVA / TAQA /A1/ V1 or equivalent)
  • Experienced in delivering management apprenticeship standards from level 2 to level 5.
  • A solid industry wealth of experience in the areas of general business.
  • You will also be well organised and methodical.
  • Comfortable and effective working to deadlines.
  • Be able to work self directed but also be a team player, the company is very collaborative and encourages working together but you are responsible for meeting the delivery targets of your cases.
  • Possess excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships with learners and employers representing the Smart brand.

You will be located within easy reach of road links and willing to travel on a daily basis with access to your own reliable vehicle.
