Our client, a well-respected and successful advisory firm, are looking for an experienced mortgage adviser to join the team; As a result of continued success and growth, the firm can provide the successful individual with a regular flow of client leads as-well as further back-office support.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will meet with prospective clients and provide them with a high level of service while conducting meetings in line with company expectations; You must outline with your clients the type of service that they wish to receive.
  • You will plan, work towards, and generate a pipeline that sufficiently meets your pre-agreed business targets; It is crucial that you contact all leads supplied within an agreed timescale and then update the business with progress as/when appropriate.
  • You will always act in a compliant manner and deliver an outstanding level of customer service while ensuring that you constantly adhere to the FCA rules and regulations.
  • You must utilise the research panel when selecting the correct options for your clients while ensuring that all client files are kept up to date and well maintained; You must construct reports in line with company standards.
  • You will communicate and liaise effectively with the back-office, management, and marketing teams; It is imperative that you always provide clear, concise, and accountable information.

About You

  • You will have a minimum of 3 years’ experience within a mortgage adviser-based role.
  • You will hold relevant industry qualifications via the CII, or LIBF.
  • You will be a confident, authentic, genuine, and charismatic individual with excellent sales and presentation skills.
  • You must have exceptional interpersonal and organisational skills as-well as possess excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • You will be driven and highly motivated to achieve and exceed business targets.
  • You must be hard working, enthusiastic, passionate, focused, and articulate with a strong commitment to delivering an excellent client experience and service; It is imperative that you always adopt highly moral, ethical, and professional approaches to your work.
  • You must have excellent knowledge on all areas of mortgages, protection, general insurance, equity release, wills, trusts, and estate planning.
  • You will have a strong ability to build and maintain client relationships.
  • You will have the ability to work individually as well as part of a team.
  • You will have strong literacy, numeracy, and IT skills.
  • You will be able to convey complex information, to a wide variety of people with various levels of understanding, both written and verbally.
