Job Title: Credit Controller (Temporary to Permanent)

We are seeking a diligent and organised Credit Controller to join our finance team on a temporary basis, with the potential to become a permanent member of staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts, ensuring timely payments, and maintaining accurate financial records.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and manage customer accounts, ensuring payments are received on time
- Communicate with clients to resolve any payment issues or discrepancies
- Process and allocate payments accurately
- Prepare and send customer statements and reminders
- Liaise with the sales team regarding credit limits and account status
- Assist in the preparation of financial reports and month-end processes
Skills and Experience:
- Previous experience in credit control or a similar finance role
- Strong communication and negotiation skills
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)
- Knowledge of accounting software is an advantage
