About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Credit Control Manager to join our clients dynamic team in Walsall. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the credit control function, manage a team of 5 Credit Controllers, ensuring timely collection of outstanding debts, and maintaining strong relationships with clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and lead the credit control team to achieve collection targets.
  • Develop and implement effective credit control policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and review customer accounts to identify and resolve issues.
  • Liaise with clients to negotiate payment terms and resolve disputes.
  • Prepare regular reports on debtors and collections for senior management.
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and relevant legislation.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a credit control or similar role.
  • Experienced managing a team.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and MS Office.
  • Attention to detail and strong analytical skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
