Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum
Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 5:30 pm
Job Description:
As a Credit Controller, you'll play a crucial role in managing and collecting customer accounts. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing debts and collections efficiently.
- Handling your section of the ledger effectively.
- Meeting agreed collection targets.
- Providing insightful reports on account performance.
- Monitoring daily debt and proposing corrective actions when necessary.
- Ensuring adherence to established credit policies and procedures.
- Escalating significant issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager promptly.
- Completing daily tasks such as unallocated cash management and resolving account disputes promptly.
The Ideal Candidate:
We're seeking candidates who possess:
- Proven experience in a similar credit control role.
- A solid understanding of finance and accounts principles.
- Exceptional organizational skills.
- Proficiency in SAP and/or Sage (experience in both is advantageous).
- Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills.
Successful applicants will be established Credit Controllers with experience handling high-value accounts in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
