Join our clients dynamic team at a well-established manufacturing company in Birmingham, with over 30 years of excellence.

They expanding their Head Office Accounts team and are thrilled to offer a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Credit Controller to join us.

If you're looking to advance your career in a positive, fast-paced environment, this role is for you.

Salary: £25,000 - £27,000 per annum

Hours: Monday to Friday, 09:00 am to 5:30 pm

Job Description:

As a Credit Controller, you'll play a crucial role in managing and collecting customer accounts. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing debts and collections efficiently.
  • Handling your section of the ledger effectively.
  • Meeting agreed collection targets.
  • Providing insightful reports on account performance.
  • Monitoring daily debt and proposing corrective actions when necessary.
  • Ensuring adherence to established credit policies and procedures.
  • Escalating significant issues to the Team Leader or Credit Manager promptly.
  • Completing daily tasks such as unallocated cash management and resolving account disputes promptly.

The Ideal Candidate:

We're seeking candidates who possess:

  • Proven experience in a similar credit control role.
  • A solid understanding of finance and accounts principles.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in SAP and/or Sage (experience in both is advantageous).
  • Previous experience in the manufacturing sector is a plus.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills.

Successful applicants will be established Credit Controllers with experience handling high-value accounts in a high-volume, target-driven environment.
