Job Title: Credit Controller Job Role: Hybrid working. 2 days in the office a week Location: Birmingham City Centre Salary: £28,000 per annum + £500 monthly bonus (realistic OTE £32,000)Our client is a market leader in what they do, they have a friendly finance team, and a credit team of 3 here in Birmingham City Centre. Very smart offices within walking distance of both New Street and Snowhill station. About the Role:We are seeking a highly motivated Credit Controller to join our dynamic team in Birmingham City Centre. You will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely and efficient collection of all debts and customer payments. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Maintaining regular contact with clients to ensure invoices are clear for payment and resolving any queries that may arise.
  • Posting and allocating daily receipts to the accounting system accurately and efficiently.
  • Providing accurate accounts information to internal departments as needed.
  • Negotiating re-payment plans when necessary.

About You:To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build and maintain strong relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • A strong attention to detail and the ability to reconcile complex accounts.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, Excel, and accounting software programs.
  • A calm and confident demeanor to handle challenging conversations.
