We are currently recruiting for an experienced Credit Controller to join our well-established accounts team. We are a Birmingham based recruitment agency specialising in public sector. This is an office based role, working 5 days a week where you can choose your working hours!

As Credit Controller you will report into the Finance Director, working within a team of 2 ensuring invoices are paid on time and addressing overdue accounts promptly. This role further includes:
  • Completing credit checks
  • Understanding data provided and writing terms of business
  • Managing the sales Ledger with a large variety of clients
  • Daily account reconciliation
  • Building client relationships and problem solving
  • Using Excel to process data
  • Administrative tasks

We are looking for Credit Controllers who:
  • Has a minimum of 2 years experience within Credit Control
  • Has an understanding of purchase orders and experience carrying out credit checks using Experian and Equifax
  • Ideally has experience in a sales based environment
  • Happy speaking with clients daily to ensure invoices are paid on time
  • Is able to meet KPI/targets
  • Is able to work part of a team and independently
  • Uses initiative and has excellent problem solving skills

In return, the Credit Controller will receive:
  • 27,000 - 30,000 basic salary (depending on experience)
  • 20 days annual leave plus 8 bank holidays
  • Able to choose your working hours - ideally working 5 days a week in the office but can choose from part time or full time
  • Able to work around school hours
  • Team days out and monthly social events
  • Weekly, monthly and quarterly Incentives for hitting targets
