Credit Controller Location: Birmingham Salary: GBP29,000 per year Hours: Monday - Friday, 8.30am - 5.30pm. Job type: Full-time, permanent Bridge Recruitment is helping one of our established clients recruit for an experienced Credit Controller to join their ever-expanding team. Within this role you will report to the Credit Manager. Responsibilities of the Credit Controller: 路 To be inspirational, dynamic and have pro-active approach towards the business. 路 Ensure that customer debts are kept below stated target levels 路 Actively chase monthly cash targets 路 Complete and present regular management reports 路 Work with / meet all necessary parties to resolve Customer complaints and Debit Note issues and to develop positive ongoing internal and external Customer relations 路 Adhere to strict monthly arrears process 路 Pro-actively support month-end Sales Ledger activities 路 Make a positive contribution towards department workflow improvements 路 With other Credit Controllers; deputise for Credit Manager when required in order to maintain critical department processes Requirements of the Credit Controller: 路 Highly experienced in Credit Control, Credit risk and sales ledger 路 Be willing and able to undertake regular independent UK travel 路 Excellent understanding of the Legal framework for Collection of debts. 路 A practical hands-on approach to problem solving & analytical skills. 路 Good face-to-face and written communication skills. 路 The ability to work well under pressure and maintain a positive attitude. 路 To achieve set objectives and targets. 路 The ability to work within multifunctional teams, but also able to work effectively alone. 路 A working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel and Word packages.
