Overview

A globally recognised organisation is now looking for an addition to the finance team by bringing in an experienced Senior Credit Controller. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a business where you will be one the key points of contact for credit, acting as a business partner and put in charge of finding new ways to add value and continuously improve the credit control function.

Joining a busy finance team and taking complete ownership of a large portfolio of debtors, this position will see you building relationships with debtors, monitoring client arrears and collating / distributing arrears reports, maintenance of client relationships, reconciliation of accounts and correct allocation of receipts (closely working with other finance departments in the business), liaising with solicitors, negotiating when necessary and dealing with any ad-hoc queries.

Ideally, you will:

  • Have notable previous experience of working in a fast-paced credit control position, looking after a large number of accounts in a large business (ideally a professional services or property business), covering a wide breadth of clients and values in the ledger
  • Be a naturally organised, confident and assured individual with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Thrive when working under pressure, and have confidence in your ability to effectively communicate with (and tactfully influence) debtors and clients
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Packages including MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel (Pivot Tables and V Lookups is advantageous but not essential)
