Senior Credit Controller Birmingham City Centre (Hybrid, 3 days in the office) £32-35k Dependent on experienceSF are working exclusively with a best in class, forward thinking organisation, who are rapidly growing, increasing their market share in the UK. With a growing AR department, our client is looking for a Senior Credit Controller, to support the Finance Manager, focusing on their large corporate accounts, building relationships both internally with Sales and Operations & with their top national accounts. The main purpose of the role, is to manage your own ledger, managing the credit and collection processes to ensure timely payments from customers and maintain positive and accurate cash flow. Your new role:Reviewing/reconciling large accounts - setting and reviewing Credit Limits. Proactively chasing payments, making sure any queries are dealt with before payment is due. Maintain accurate records of customer accounts, escalate any concerns to the finance manager Recommend appropriate Credit Limits Negotiate payment terms and payment plans with aged debt Prepare regular reports, and provide insights to help reduce Credit risk on accounts What you'll needStrong communication skills, both externally with customers and internally with other departments Ability to influence internal stakeholders 3+ years experience in a B2B Credit environment Strong Excel Skills (Vlookups & Pivots) Ability to manage workloads and meet deadlines What you'll get in return26 days holiday plus bank holidays Private health care.
