GRG are partnering with a small real estate business and have an exciting opportunity for a skilled Senior Credit Controller to join their Birmingham team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Take ownership of the credit control process, ensuring the timely collection of outstanding payments and maintaining healthy cash flow.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, handling queries and resolving payment discrepancies professionally and efficiently.
  • Monitor aged debt reports, identify risk areas, and implement strategies to reduce overdue balances.
  • Manage property-related accounts, including service charge and rent collections, ensuring compliance with UK regulations.
  • Develop and enhance credit control processes to drive efficiency and effectiveness within the team.
  • Work closely with the finance team and other departments to support business objectives and maintain alignment.

Working Pattern:

  • 9:00 am-5:00 pm, with flexibility available.
  • 4 days per week in our Birmingham City Centre office.
  • 1 day working from home, with a flexible approach.

What We're Looking For:

  • Proven experience as a Credit Controller, with at least 2 years in a senior role.
  • Strong knowledge of the property sector, particularly service charge and rent collection.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong client relationships.
  • Proficiency in financial systems and Excel, with a keen eye for detail and accuracy.
  • Highly organised, proactive, and able to work under pressure to meet deadlines.
