- Collaborative Planning: Assisting in the preparation and delivery of interactive and innovative maths lessons that cater to different learning styles, ensuring all students are engaged and challenged.
- Personalised Support: Providing one-on-one and small group support to students who may require additional help in understanding mathematical concepts, fostering their confidence and abilities.
- Classroom Dynamics: Contributing to maintaining a positive and inclusive learning environment, supporting classroom management, and encouraging positive behaviour among students.
- Assessment and Feedback: Assisting with the assessment of students' progress, offering constructive feedback on their work, and identifying areas for improvement.
- Extracurricular Engagement: Organising and participating in extracurricular activities related to mathematics, stimulating students' interest and appreciation for the subject beyond the classroom.
- A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
- A genuine passion for mathematics and a desire to instil that enthusiasm in young minds.
- Strong communication skills to effectively convey complex mathematical concepts to students.
- Flexibility and adaptability to support students with varying levels of mathematical ability.
- Previous experience working with young people or in an educational setting is advantageous but not mandatory.
