You will work closely with both individual students and small groups to provide targeted assistance, helping them develop a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and improve their overall performance.Key Responsibilities:
  • Conducting one-on-one and small group tutoring sessions with students to reinforce their understanding of mathematical principles.
  • Assisting classroom teachers in planning and delivering engaging maths lessons.
  • Identifying students who require additional support and devising personalised learning plans.
  • Monitoring and tracking students' progress, providing regular feedback to teachers and parents.
  • Organizing and participating in extracurricular maths activities and workshops.
  • Collaborating with the maths department to develop teaching materials and resources.
  • Instilling confidence and a positive attitude towards mathematics in students.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of a bachelor’s degree in Mathematics or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge and passion for mathematics, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and understandable manner.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport with students, teachers, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping students achieve their academic goals.
  • Previous experience in tutoring or working with young learners is advantageous but not mandatory.
