We are recruiting a Customs Data Entry/Administration Clerks for our worldwide logistics customer in Erdington, Birmingham.
This is a temp - perm opportunity working with one of the worlds largest organizations.
Successful candidate must have data entry experience and be willing to undertake online pre-testing in Data Entry and Attention to Detail.

Rate of Pay:
24,000 - 25,000pa + 22.5% shift allowance (29,400 - 30,625pa)
paid hourly

Hours of work*:
Week 1 - (Apply online only)
Week 2 - (Apply online only)
Week 3 - (Apply online only)
Week 4 - (Apply online only)
Week 5 - (Apply online only)
Week 6 - (Apply online only) (Tuesday to Saturday)

* this is a general view of the working hours so a degree of flexibility is required.

Days of work:
Monday to Friday

Duties:
  • Checking and Filing customs paperwork for EU & UK.
  • Data Entry and Data Transfer
  • Creating and requesting relevant customs clearance documentation.
  • Managing numerous mailboxes between Carriers and Vendors.
  • Ensuring all shipments have the correct and necessary documents to be able to cross.
  • Dealing with any discrepancies and misalignmentsthat might arise
  • Office based

Required:
  • A stable and consistent work history
  • Data Entry Experience (Essential)
  • Office working experience
  • Strong communication skills (written and spoken)
  • High standard of attention to detail
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Outlook
  • Ability to work ALL shifts detailed above
  • Clear criminal record
  • You may be required to take a Drug and Alcohol Test
  • Transport industry experience is preferred
