A rapidly growing data consultancy are looking for a Technical Data Governance Architect with Microsoft Purview and / or Unity Catalogue experience to join their Data Management team.

With clients spread across the UK and Europe, this role is remote, and therefore open to candidates across the UK. There are bi-monthly company events in London, allowing you to celebrate success and socialise with your colleagues.

In this role, you'll work closely with their clients to lead on the technical implementation of appropriate data governance solutions. This will involve conducting data maturity assessments to evaluate clients' current practices, and identify opportunities to for improvement.

This may involve leading on data cataloguing and data cleansing efforts, overseeing the use of tools such as Microsoft Purview, and managing the migration of data to new cloud-based solutions such as Unity Catalog for Databricks. You'll foster a culture of data stewardship across clients' organisations, and work with various stakeholders to implement robust data governance policies.

This role would be well-suited to a Data Governance professional who is looking for an opportunity to add real value to a number of organisations, where you'll utilise both your technical hands-on skills, as well as your softer stakeholder management skills.

Requirements:

  • Experience designing and implementing data governance solutions
  • Significant experience across asset data management and data quality assurance
  • Experience leading on data and systems migrations
  • Experience with Microsoft Purview and / or Unity Catalog for Databricks
