Early Years SEND Teaching Assistant

Prospero Teaching are looking to recruit an Early Years Teaching Assistant to support a pupil with Special Educational Needs for a Primary School in Small Heath, Birmingham.

You will be supporting a pupil in Reception on a 1:1 basis who has ASD and additional needs, this role will require personal care assistance. The school are looking for an individual who has previous experience in a similar role including a passion for working with children with SEND.

This position is due to start in September 2024 and will continue on a long term ongoing basis.

Minimum rate of pay - GBP86.40
Hours - 8:20am-4pm (term time only)

Supply TA Experience, Training and Qualifications

It is essential that you have Teaching assistant experience, along with a relevant qualification
Level 2 or Level 3 Qualification in Childcare/TA/Early Years required
Experience of working with children with SEND/Additional Needs
Up-to-date Safeguarding training is imperative; you can undertake a free course with Prospero Teaching if you have not completed a Safeguarding course in the last 12 months.
