Early Years Teaching Assistant | Birmingham, B38 | £85 - £100 per day | ASAP Start

LTF Recruitment is collaborating with a well-regarded school in Hawkesley, to appoint a Teaching Assistant for their Early Years provision this academic year. This role offers a significant opportunity to influence the educational journey of young pupils, building trust and confidence within the school's community through your warm and approachable nature. The school is looking for you to join them on a full-time basis in September, and for the right candidate this can become a permanent position.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the teacher in implementing the EYFS Curriculum within a mainstream classroom setting.
  • Create and lead interactive activities and games to promote socialisation and inclusivity.
  • Adjust your support and methods to meet the specific needs of each child.
  • Provide focused assistance to students who are experiencing challenges in the classroom.

Personal Specifications:

  • Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification, degree, or Early Years equivalent.
  • Understanding of the Early Years curriculum.
  • Enthusiasm for supporting and engaging children with diverse learning needs.
  • Experience in a primary school setting, specifically within Early Years support.
