SEND Teaching Assistant

Location- Kings Heath, Birmingham (B14) | Daily Rate- £90-£105 | Start Date- ASAP| Contract- Long Term to Permanent

Long Term Futures are searching for nurturing, caring and patient SEND Teaching Assistant working with one of our partner mainstream primary schools in Birmingham. The role is based with EYFS and KS1 and is based within a specialist well equipped resource hub within the school. You will be working alongside a supportive team of Teaching assistants and SEN teacher. The role is offered on a long-term basis with the potential to become a permanent position at the school.

The Ideal candidate will have:

  • Level 2/3 supporting teaching and learning in schools or relevant qualification required.
  • Strong experience supporting children on a 1:1 basis.
  • Have experience of supporting SEN (Autism, ASD, Speech, Language & Communication needs)
  • A good team player be able to work with other staff and under direction of class teacher.
  • Knowledge of maintaining and updating and reviewing progress of EHCPS
  • Knowledge of the UK EYFS and KS1 primary curriculum.
