Job Description:We are looking for an enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to work closely with classroom teachers, providing support to ensure that every child has the opportunity to succeed. The successful candidate will assist with day-to-day classroom activities, help manage behaviour, and provide individual or small group support where needed. Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering engaging and effective lessons.
  • Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help with their learning.
  • Help prepare classroom resources and organise activities.

  • Monitor student progress and provide feedback to teachers.
  • Assist with classroom management, ensuring a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the development of personalised learning plans and behaviour strategies for students.
  • Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to provide holistic support to students.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience as a Teaching Assistant is desirable, but not essential.
  • A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Patience, empathy, and a passion for working with children.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
