LTF Recruitment is seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to join a supportive secondary school in the Birmingham, Perry Bar area (B42) area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide personalised support to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)
  • Effectively engage with students, staff, and parents to build a strong, collaborative network
  • Work closely with teachers to understand individual students' learning styles, strengths, and areas for growth
  • Build meaningful relationships with students, helping them to follow school expectations and develop positive behaviours

Person Specification:

  • A relevant qualification or degree in education, special education, or a related discipline is desirable
  • Experience working with diverse learning needs and offering adaptive support
  • A strong passion for education and creating positive learning experiences for students
  • An Enhanced DBS and two references are essential for this position
