You will be joining an experienced team of Teaching Assistants and Classroom Assistants who go above and beyond to provide children with an excellent education and a nurturing learning environment.Job Role:
  • Supporting Children with Special Educational Needs
  • Working with a team of Teaching Assistants and Classroom Assistants to plan group activities and support children’s needs
  • Providing 1-2-1 assistants / intervention for children who are struggling in class
  • Making learning fun and engaging for pupils
  • Supporting an experienced class teacher in delivierng lessons and managing behaviours where required
Requirements:
  • You must hold a Level 3 Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant qualification or equivalent
  • Minimum of 3 months experience supporting children with special educational needs
  • A Valid DBS that is on the update service, or be willing to get one
  • Understanding of the Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant role
  • A calm, patient, and empathetic approach
