Teaching Assistant | KS2 | Rubery, Birmingham (B45) | Long term-permanent | £90-£105 | Start ASAP

Long Term Futures is looking for a dedicated individual who can assist in a KS2 (Year 6) class. Your responsibility will be to support the teacher in daily activities and with this support the preparation for the student's SATs. This role requires someone who is enthusiastic and motivated to help make a positive impact on young people's education.

Key responsibilities:

  • Run interventions for students sitting SATs.
  • Monitor whole class learning and support students in small groups and 1:1.
  • Assist teacher in delivering pre planned lessons.
  • Managing behaviour in classroom to maintain a safe learning environment.

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience working with young children in a school setting.
  • Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or equivalent degree.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with student and staff to monitor and record student progress.
  • Knowledge or willingness to learn and understand KS2 curriculum.
