We are seeking an experienced interim Business Analyst to join our team and help streamline our business processes across the group. The current system is highly inefficient, relying on spreadsheets and access databases to generate 5000 statements monthly. We need a skilled professional to map out the process, gather requirements, and propose solutions to improve efficiency and reduce man-hours spent on troubleshooting.

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct thorough fact-finding and process mapping across the business to understand the current system and its challenges.
- Gather and document detailed business requirements from various stakeholders.
- Analyze and identify inefficiencies in the current process, which involves spreadsheets, access databases, and thousands of lines of code.
- Propose solutions, including the potential for outsourcing, internal development, or an IT-built solution.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure all requirements are captured and addressed.
- Provide regular updates and reports on progress to the management team.
- Work on-site at least two days a week, with key stakeholders based in Birmingham and Runcorn.
