Are you a Self-Employed Subcontractor looking for consistent work in the electrical industry?
Here at Winner Recruitment, we are current working with a family run business who are looking for a client facing Electrical subcontractor to support their operations. This role will be working across a variety of sectors including Domestic, Educational, commercial and letting properties within the local area. The relevant candidate will be performing a mixture of Installations, Testing, Maintenance and Breakdowns.
Responsibilities:
- As an Electrical Engineer you will work up to a 30 mile radius from the office in birmingham performing a mixture of Installations, Testing, Maintenance and Breakdowns across Domestic, Educational, commercial and letting properties.
- You will ensure compliance with safety standards and electrical codes while maintaining electrical systems and equipment
- As an Electrical engineer you will be working either on your own or with other electricians or engineers
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance, testing, and project work, including documentation for audits and inspections.
Candidate:
- As an Electrical Engineer you must hold the relevant qualifications in Electrical installations e.g. NVQ or City & Guilds
- It would be desirable for the candidate to to hold the 2391 - Test & Inspection
- The candidate must have strong knowledge of electrical systems
- You must have excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to challenges
- You must have excellent communication skils
