Electrical Resident Engineer
- Location: Birmingham
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
- On-call: 1 in every 2 weeks
- Basic Salary: £40k - £45k
We’re hiring an experienced Electrical Resident Engineer to join our dedicated engineering team on-site. If you’re passionate about electrical systems and take pride in ensuring safe, reliable, and compliant facilities, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
What you’ll be doing:
- Performing scheduled electrical PPM tasks, inspections, and testing.
- Reacting promptly to electrical faults and breakdowns.
- Maintaining and supporting landlord services and systems across the building.
- Working closely with facilities and engineering teams.
- Taking part in a 1-in-2-week on-call rota to support critical operations.
What you’ll need:
- NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in Electrical Installation/Maintenance.
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (essential).
- Strong background in building services and electrical systems
- Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills.
