Your new companyWe are recruiting on behalf of our client, a leading company in the Building Services Company, for a motivated and talented Junior Electrical Design Engineer to join their dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of electrical systems for various projects. You will work closely with senior engineers and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects within the specified timelines and budget Your new role

  • Assist in the design and development of electrical systems and components.
  • Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project requirements are met.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to gather data and assess project progress.
  • Support the testing and commissioning of electrical systems.
  • Stay updated with industry standards and advancements in electrical engineering.

What you'll need to succeed

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field would be preferable.
  • Understanding of electrical design principles and practices, from experience of working in a Building Services consultancy or contractor
  • Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant design tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
