Job Overview:
We are currently seeking a skilled and reliable M&E Technician to join our team on a temp-to-perm basis. This role involves covering reactive maintenance and planned preventive maintenance (PPM) tasks in Mechanical & Electrical systems, as well as minor fabric works. The successful candidate will work as part of a dynamic team to ensure smooth operation of our client's facilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reactive Maintenance: Responding to urgent maintenance requests in a timely and efficient manner.
  • PPM: Conducting planned preventive maintenance tasks as scheduled.
  • Minor Fabric Works: Undertaking small-scale fabric repairs as part of regular maintenance activities.
  • On-Call: Providing out-of-hours support, with a 1 in 6-week on-call rotation (Friday 5:00 PM to Friday 8:00 AM).
  • Documentation: Recording maintenance activities and providing detailed reports on the work completed.
  • Safety Compliance: Adhering to all health and safety guidelines and regulations at all times.

Skills & Experience Required:

  • Previous experience in M&E maintenance or related fields.
  • Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and fabric maintenance.
  • Ability to handle reactive maintenance tasks effectively under pressure.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused approach.
  • Willingness to work on-call as part of the team rotation.
  • Full UK driving license (required for vehicle provision).
