Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and qualified Electrician to join our team, supporting a housing and student association in the Wolverhampton/Birmingham area. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safety, functionality, and efficiency of electrical systems within our properties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems and equipment.
  • Install, inspect, and test electrical systems, including wiring, lighting, and appliances.
  • Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues, providing effective solutions.
  • Ensure all electrical work complies with relevant safety standards and regulations.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues.
  • Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service to residents and staff.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Valid electrician certification and relevant qualifications.
