Employee Relations Specialist

Salary: Competitive and based on experience

Our client is seeking an Employee Relations Specialist to join their dynamic team. This role offers the opportunity to provide in-depth support and guidance on various Employee Relations (ER) cases, including complex matters, across the business. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a wide variety of manager-led employee relations cases by phone and email to resolution. This role requires strong communication and influencing skills, a keen attention to detail, and a robust understanding of Employment Law.

  • Provide in-depth desk-based support on ER cases
  • Manage a wide variety of manager-led ER cases
  • Strong understanding of Employment Law required

The Role:

As an Employee Relations Specialist, your role will involve providing comprehensive support on various ER cases across the business. You will be responsible for gathering relevant facts for each case, ensuring that the advice given is most suitable under the circumstances. Your ability to highlight high-risk cases and identify opportunities for policy improvement will be crucial in this role. Furthermore, you will coach and guide managers on how to handle employee relations issues effectively.

  • Provide guidance on various ER cases, ensuring they are handled expediently and professionally
  • Proactively manage a wide variety of manager-led employee relations cases to resolution
  • Gather relevant facts for each case to ensure appropriate advice is given
  • Highlight high-risk cases, trends and management capability issues as appropriate
  • Support with ER letter drafting including the formation of allegations and outcome letters
  • Coach, guide and influence managers to deal with employee relations issues effectively

The ideal candidate for the Employee Relations Specialist position will bring a wealth of experience in advising and supporting managers with complex ER issues. Your strong communication and influencing skills will enable you to interact effectively across all levels of management.
