Opportunity for a Part 2 Architectural Assistant or newly qualified Architect to join an Architectural and Project Management consultancy in the centre of Birmingham.

You will be supporting the Project lead / Architect and working across a variety of project sectors to include education, healthcare, leisure, industrial and commercial, heritage and residential. The practice have a large amount of healthcare work and specialists in this area, therefore a healthcare Architect would be desirable however not essential.

You will join a medium size team of 30 working across a variety of projects leading and managing the projects through all RIBA stages.

The Role:
  • Assisting the Architect from start to finish across all RIBA stages, managing the overall design process within the RIBA work stages
  • Co-ordinating a design team, working with Product Designers in-house and external construction professionals
  • Complete site visits to check on progress and budget
  • Liaise with the client and external consultants, attending design team meetings, managing collaborative communication streams and ensuring that the design projects are on schedule
The Candidate:
  • Relevant ARB / RIBA qualification
  • Good working knowledge of UK building regulations
  • Client focused attitude with excellent interpersonal skills
  • Strong technical abilities
  • The ability / willingness to deliver projects.
  • An up-to-date knowledge of planning stage processes and methods
  • Revit Proficiency is mandatory
