Senior BREEAM Assessor

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced BREEAM Assessor to join a team of engineering and sustainability consultants in their offices in Birmingham. The successful candidate will be exposed to a variety of projects, taking the lead on them and help provide buildings for the future.

Responsibilities for a Senior BREEAM Assessor include:

  • Leading on BREEAM related projects, providing sustainable advice to clients to help minimise the environmental impact of projects
  • Deliver BREEAM Assessments for new construction builds from project inception to completion
  • Mentor the more junior members of the team to help them professionally grow
  • Produce general sustainability reports and strategies, as well as identifying new areas of business for the client

The ideal Senior BREEAM Assessor will have:

  • An educational background related to the built environment with this being in an environmental science or sustainability degree
  • BREEAM New Construction qualification is essential, with previous experience carrying out BREEAM assessments and reports
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience within a Sustainability Consultancy or BREEAM Assessor role
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
