My client is a leading Technology Innovation Company in Central Birmingham. An opportunity has arisen for a Marketing & Events Executive to join their team in the newly created role. This role is a mix of Marketing & Events and hybrid.

The day-to-day responsibilities will include:

Events Management

  • Plan and execute industry conferences, workshops and networking events
  • Manage venue sourcing, supplier negotiations and contract management
  • Coordinate all event logistics including catering, AV, materials and branded collateral
  • Oversee virtual event platform setup and management
  • Create detailed event briefs and run-sheets
  • Manage on-site event delivery and troubleshooting
  • Conduct post-event analysis and reporting
  • Coordinate regular member communications
  • Track engagement metrics and retention rates
  • Organise member networking opportunities
  • Gather and analyse member feedback
  • Support membership renewal campaign

Marketing & Communications

  • Support content creation for social media platforms
  • Write and schedule email marketing campaigns
  • Update website content and event calendars
  • Create event promotional materials and presentations
  • Assist with PR activities and thought leadership content
  • Monitor competitor activities and industry trends

Applicants will have:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Events Management, or equivalent
  • Experience in marketing and events coordination within a professional environment
  • Exposure to digital marketing skills across multiple platforms
