Personal Assistant and Business Administrator

Salary: up to £30,000

Location: Birmingham

Role: Hybrid Opportunity

Our client is seeking a dedicated Personal Assistant and Business Administrator to join their dynamic team. This role is pivotal, focusing on providing administrative support for Directors and assisting in delivering management service contracts. The successful candidate will be involved in all administrative aspects across various Boards, including setting up meetings, diary arrangement, producing Board papers, managing Board actions, and maintaining accurate records.

This role offers the opportunity to work in a hybrid environment with flexible working hours.

The Role:

  • Assist with the Board process across all internal boards and teams.
  • Manage and liaise with different departments to ensure that reports and action logs are received in time for set deadlines.
  • Liaise and update both Managing and Finance Directors on a regular basis.
  • Ensure Board packs are complete and accurate.
  • Issue the Board packs within the timescale specified by regulations
  • Attend Boards and write minutes.
  • Coordinate ad hoc meetings, conference calls, organise events and workshops.
  • Maintain an up-to-date compliant suite of policies and procedures for each Board.

The Right Candidate:

  • Minimum 1-2 years experience in a similar senior leadership Business Support/Senior Administration role.
  • Accurate minute taking and writing up minutes skills.
  • Proactive and self-motivated with a problem-solving mindset.
  • Ability to command respect and trust.
  • Proven ability to work accurately and ensure accuracy at all times.
  • Time management skills with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
  • Highly organised, completer finisher, with a high level of attention to detail.
  • Ability to act as a liaison between departments to improve coordination and communication.
  • Able to multi-task across work areas and prioritise effectively.
  • Inquisitive, numerate and strong communicator both verbally and in writing.
