The successful candidate will be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of extrusion machinery and associated processes to manufacture high-quality polymer products.Key Responsibilities for the machine operative include:Operate and monitor extrusion machinery to ensure optimal production standards.Adjust machine settings to maintain product quality and output.Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production.Maintain accurate production records and logs.Adhere to all safety procedures and maintain a clean working environment.Perform preventative maintenance activities and escalate concerns as needed.Collaborate with the shift manager and lead operator to ensure smooth operations.Qualifications and Skills:Experience in a factory environment.Numerate and literate to GCSE A-C or equivalent.Familiarity with HMI interfaces for computerised control.Good manual dexterity and mechanical aptitude.Attention to detail and problem-solving skills.Ability to work various shifts and overtime as required.Ideally experienced in a FMCG environment.Desirable Qualifications from the Process Operative include:IOSH experience.First Aid appointed person/emergency.Fork-lift license.PPT licenses.ATEX awareness.Experience in a manufacturing environment.Personal Attributes:Strong teamwork and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Commitment to maintaining high safety and quality standards.Why Join Us?Be part of a company committed to sustainability and innovation.Competitive salary and benefits package.Opportunities for career growth and development.Supportive and collaborative work environment.Hours of work:-Week 1: 3 days per week working 0700-1730Week 2: 4 night per week working 1900-0700Rate of pay: £13.05 per hour with salary reviews taking place imminentlyIf you are interested in applying for our Process Operative role, please click to apply or alternatively email
