We are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Senior Analyst on behalf of a prominent organisation. This is an exciting opportunity for a finance professional to join a leading team in Birmingham. The role requires you to work full-time onsite, focusing on financial planning, budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support the company's decision-making process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Planning & Reporting: You will lead financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting efforts, ensuring accurate financial insights are provided to support the business's strategic goals.
  • Data Collection & Analysis: Collecting operational data and conducting in-depth analysis, you will be responsible for reconciling transactions and interpreting results to influence financial outcomes.
  • Financial Modelling: You will maintain and update financial models, ensuring that they align with best practices and provide reliable data for decision-making.
  • Collaboration & Communication: You will regularly engage with peers, clients, and management to ensure the alignment of financial insights with business needs and strategy.

Key Skills Required:

  • Financial Modelling: Proficiency in creating and managing financial models aligned with industry standards.
  • Data Analysis: Strong analytical skills, with the ability to derive actionable insights from financial data.
  • Communication: Excellent ability to present complex financial data in a clear, concise manner to stakeholders.
  • Software Proficiency: Experience with financial and visualisation software tools.
  • Attention to Detail: Exceptional accuracy in handling financial data and performing reconciliations.
