About the Role

BDM Recruitment is seeking a highly skilled and motivated New Build Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker (CeMAP qualified) to join our client’s dynamic team. This position offers the flexibility of a home-based role focused on the West Midlands region. You’ll work closely with clients to help them secure the best possible financing solution for their new build or shared ownership property. Remuneration:

Basic to £29,000 including car allowance and dependent upon experience, financial guarantees for 5 months, pension, life assurance, bonus & commission, OTE £55,000 - £65,000

Key Responsibilities

As a Home-Based New Build Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker, your role will involve:

  • Lead Generation & Management: Receive a consistent flow of 10-12 new build and shared ownership mortgage leads weekly, sourced from top introducers and local developers across the West Midlands.
  • Client Engagement & Relationship Building: Provide whole-of-market mortgage and protection advice to clients, guiding them through the mortgage selection process with a goal of 1-2 successful completions each week.
  • Tailored Solutions: Offer both fee-based and non-fee-based mortgage advice to meet varied client needs, customising services based on each introducer’s requirements.
  • Business Development: Proactively connect with new build developers across Birmingham, Wolverhampton, Coventry, Dudley, Walsall, and nearby areas, expanding your network and creating additional business opportunities.
  • Process Management: Respond to new build mortgage inquiries efficiently to provide a seamless client experience, ensuring clients can confidently move forward with their property choices.
  • Remote Operations: Perform all duties from a comfortable home office, with full IT support and equipment provided by the company.

Who We’re Looking For

To succeed in this role, you’ll need:

  • Experience: A proven background as a New Build Mortgage Advisor or Mortgage Broker, with a strong track record of mortgage and protection advice and expertise in new build financing.
  • Qualifications: Full CeMAP qualification (or equivalent) is required.
  • Residency: Located in the West Midlands to serve the local market effectively.
  • Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients, developers, and other industry professionals.
  • Compliance: A clean credit history, no disciplinary or complaint issues, and no criminal convictions are essential for compliance.
  • Licensing: A full UK driving licence is required to manage client and developer visits within the West Midlands.
