Are you an experienced Account Manager looking for a new challenge in the IT & Telecoms sector? Construo Recruitment are recruiting a dynamic and results-driven IT / Telecoms Account Director to manage and grow an existing portfolio of clients across the Midlands region.
About the Role
As an IT / Telecoms Account Director, you will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of approximately (Apply online only) customers, ensuring the renewal of their existing services while identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell additional products. This is a field-based role requiring a strategic mindset and a passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and expand a portfolio of existing customers, driving revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling.
- Achieve monthly targets for gross profit, customer retention, and product penetration.
- Renew customer contracts while focusing on increasing service adoption.
- Prepare and deliver professional proposals and tailored presentations to clients.
- Identify service gaps and increase product penetration across the customer base.
- Oversee the full sales cycle, from needs analysis to proposal, negotiation, closing, and handover.
- Provide accurate sales forecasts and reports.
- Regularly review customer accounts using CRM tools to ensure optimal service utilization.
- Demonstrate flagship products effectively to clients.
- Report on productivity and performance KPIs monthly.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships through proactive engagement via phone, email, and face-to-face meetings.
What We’re Looking For:
- Minimum 2 years of field-based account management experience.
- Leasing experience is essential.
- A proven track record of professional growth and success in a sales-driven environment.
- Strong organizational skills with a results-oriented mindset.
- Experience delivering compelling presentations in person and online.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities.
