An exciting opportunity for a talented Account Executive/Director to join a thriving insurance business based in Birmingham. What you'll do-

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with motor trade clients.
  • Demonstrate your self-motivated, hardworking nature to meet and exceed growth targets.
  • Drive quality, consistency and accuracy in all aspects of your role.
  • Achieve and maintain a high level of client service whilst always promoting exceptional customer care standards.
  • Develop and maintain professional working relationships with your client base and ensure expert advice is given in all areas of business.
  • Demonstrate excellent client retention skills.
  • Ensure accuracy, efficiency and professionalism when dealing with both client and insurer.
  • Oversee and coordinate daily operations
  • Maintain compliance with external regulations and internal policies
  • Assess and report progress in meeting department objectives
  • Along with the branch director, see to department staffing needs (e.g. interviewing, hiring, new hire and ongoing training, annual evaluations etc.)
  • Participate in budget development and monitoring of expenses

What you'll need-

  • A strong commercial insurance background including exposure to managing and retaining a portfolio of commercial insurance clients, it’s highly desirable that you’ll have motor trade Insurance experience.
  • Experience at leadership and good organisational skills able to make tough decisions
  • Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and market trends.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A self-motivated and results-oriented mindset.
  • Good MS Office & Acturis
  • Experience in building portfolios of existing clients to maximise the income opportunities for the business.
  • Articulate with strong client facing and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Strong Market and Insurer knowledge with good market relationships.
  • Experience & a strong understanding of FCA compliance & the ability to work to regulatory processes.
