A Top 40 Firm, specialising in Accountancy & Business Services, Audit, Corporate Finance, Forensic Accounting, and Taxation alongside outsourced FD and HR support, with over 700 talented individuals across the UK and Ireland is looking for an AuditAssistant Manager to join their growing team in Birmingham.

As an Audit Assistant Manager, you will:

  • Be responsible for supervising an audit team, providing leadership, guidance and support to junior team members as required
  • Carry out reviews of audit files and ensure all work has been completed and maintain a high quality
  • Identify any significant problems in the clients' operations and recommend appropriate actions to overcome issues whilst maintaining strong client relationships
  • Provide liaison between client and managers during the audit
  • Ensure that files are prepared in accordance with the audit manual for managerial review
  • Perform detailed technical work and be instrumental in the delivery of service to clients, in a supportive manner
  • Provide an exceptional service with confidence, commercial awareness and initiative when handling complex technical matters

The ideal candidate will be ACA or ACCA qualified, with full UK Working Rights, coupled with strong interpersonal skills to communicate openly and build client relationships, confidently lead junior team members and eagerly embrace new challenges.
