Bell Cornwall Recruitment are pleased to be hiring an Audit Assistant Manager for a fantastic, fast growing Accountancy Practice. The company has a fantastic team and are looking for someone who has Practice experience to join their company.

THIS ROLE IN WITHIN A ACCOUNTANCY PRACTICE !! PREVIOUS PRACTICE EXPERIENCE IS ESSENTIAL.

The Candidates responsibilities:

  • Audit Planning duties such as preparing and reviewing working papers, fieldwork and completion work
  • Working on audits for large Corporates, Pensions and Charities
  • Responsible for getting the audit file to a stage of senior review and sign off
  • Managing a team of junior and semi senior auditors
  • Monitoring work in progress, deadlines and targets and ensuring all data is reported back to the Head of Audit and Audit Manager
  • Reviewing all communications in relation to audits and ensuring they are dealt with appropriately
  • Working with the senior staff to ensuring continuous business development and supporting the team towards growth
  • Ad hoc projects and administration

Skills Needed:

  • Experience within a similar role in practice is critical - 3 years minimum
  • ACCA/ACA/ICAEW qualified
  • General MS, IT and email/internet knowledge is essential
  • Exceptional communication skills are necessary as communicating with clients and colleagues is a key part of the role
  • An excellent attention to detail, accuracy and a high degree of numeracy and literacy are key
  • The candidate would need to be a team player with a professional approach when dealing with stakeholders
  • Knowledge of accounting software's such at CaseWare, CCH and more
